The Reviews Are In- How To Run With Them

We are being reviewed all the time now. Where once reviews were pretty much only word of mouth and maybe something in the newspaper the mobile revolution has brought countless ways for people to judge our goods and services. But how can you use them to your advantage?

First, respond to all the reviews you can in a cordial manner. Yes, that means the negative ones too. Acknowledging them shows people you are listening, so even a negative review can become a good thing. Basically by responding to these reviews you’re getting free PR. And don’t get defensive when you get a negative review, most of the time there’s a good point in there even if it seems off point completely, on the other side of that don’t assume all negative reviews are something to fix, you simply can’t please everyone all the time. As with anything remember to follow through If a negative review is something you can fix- do it. A lot of times what they don’t like will seem so minor you just overlooked it.
