If your clients are looking for the low-down on how to make their hair healthier even when they sleep, we’ve got the tips to make that dream a reality!

First and foremost, make sure to tell your clients to go to bed with dry hair. Wet hair, when sleeping, is susceptible to a considerable amount of damage. If they have to sleep with it wet, recommend a cotton shirt rather then a towel, as the towel is more abrasive.

Brushing before bed is a big help too. This keeps the oils distributed throughout the hair in an even manner, and helps break down the build up of products used during the day. Speaking of which, this is a good time for leave-in treatments like moisturizers, as they have more time to really soak into the areas they are needed. Just make sure they have a wrap for this to save pillow cases and bed sheets!
